The Grudge is a 2004 Japanese-American supernatural horror film and a remake of the Japanese film Ju-On: The Grudge. It was followed by two sequels: The Grudge 2 (which was released on October 13, 2006) which was also directed by Shimizu, and The Grudge 3 (released on May 12, 2009), directed by Toby Wilkins.
